General Guidelines 1. Your initial cleaning is the foundation for your regular maintenance visits and is more vigorous and may take longer than a regular visit. House Cleaning with a smile, may give you a bid for your initial cleaning or may deem your home at a level of cleanliness that can be immediately started on a routine maintenance schedule. 2. After your initial cleaning which allows us to determine your needs, House Cleaning with a smile, will quote either: a flat fee for the average amount of time needed to maintain our Residential Check List for your particular home OR an hourly rate may be the best for your needs. House Cleaning with a smile, reserves the right to choose which fee schedule to apply. If you need special projects or additional services above your normal cleaning level, please let us know so that we can adjust our schedule to allow for the extra time. You may incur additional charges if the extra time needed is excessive or you have requested special chores. Check your invoice for details regarding any specially requested projects or extra charges. 3. Our schedule is the backbone to our regular service and we need as much lead time as possible if you have to change your regular appointment time. Please give at least 24 hours in advance of your regular day to reschedule your home. You may incur a $25.00 fee if you reschedule more than once in any given 3 week period. *This fee is at our discretion and is only an incentive to keep regular scheduled appointments so that our other client’s schedules are not affected. 4. If for some unforeseen reason we are unable to gain access to your home as scheduled i.e. the alarm is set where normally it is not, or for any other event prompted by you, that may deter us from our appointed task, you may incur a Lock Out fee. 5. Payment for our services is due the day of service. We will accept cash, or check. Please note: if for some reason your check is returned by the bank, you MAY be charged a returned check fee of $25.00. 6. Periodically and at least once a year, House Cleaning with a smile, will request a review of your current cleaning service level. We know that things change in every home and if your needs increase with new children, more pets or additional household members, we reserve the right to adjust your rate if necessary. Of course we want to discuss this with you to find an adequate level of service for everyone. We want you to be satisfied that we are meeting your needs.
